Positioned in Catshill, North Worcestershire our clients wanted a completely new take on this house which was newly purchased, but they didn’t want to extend and lose Garden space. We worked with them to create fairly small changes to room layouts that made a huge difference to the property and modernised internally and externally.
Internally, the Kitchen was ‘squared off’ by shifting the Utility and creating a Study where the unused Dining Room was. The Kitchen could then have a central island that the owners desired. The living room gained large bi-fold doors with electric canopy for shading, whilst upstairs the fifth bedroom was made into a dressing room and switching the bathrooms around to create a Master Bedroom Wing.
Externally, the tired looking house with old wooden frames was given a fresh appearance with new anthracite grey windows all round, new front door and a fresh paint scheme.
